“Fluid Painting”-The Flying-Original

Artwork Description

“Fluid Painting” - The Flying is a one-of-a-kind original painting by YIFAN ZHANG. The work uses the artist’s fluid painting language to capture the sensation of rising, drifting, and breaking free from gravity.

At 59.1 × 98.4 in, this large-scale original artwork has a powerful vertical presence. Its format gives the painting a sense of lift, making it suitable for statement walls, galleries, private collections, creative studios, and interiors that need movement and emotional height.

Background Story

Flying is not only a physical action in this painting. It becomes a metaphor for release, imagination, and the human desire to move beyond limitation. Through flowing pigments and layered motion, YIFAN ZHANG turns the idea of flight into an emotional state.

The fluid technique gives the work its life force. Colors seem to move like air currents, wings, clouds, or spiritual energy, creating a visual rhythm that feels spontaneous but controlled. The painting invites viewers to feel the moment between weight and freedom, where the body is still connected to the earth but the mind has already begun to rise.

This original work is ideal for collectors who value contemporary abstraction, expressive movement, and artworks that bring a sense of aspiration, openness, and poetic energy into a space.
